Youth Voices: Students and their teachers participate in an ongoing discussion about everything in regards to education via podcasts, videos, and blogs. Spends a big amount of focus on hearing the opinions of youth from all ages.
Regurgitated Alpha Bits: Run by an anonymous teacher elementary school teacher blogs about the students she loves and the job she hates. This blog focuses on the humor that the anonymous teacher finds throughout her job.
Jerry Webster: Blogger and teacher Jerry Webster shares the basics of special education here, as well as some helpful insights from his own experiences in the classroom. Lots of resources to different activities as they relate to current affairs.
Special 2 Me: A blog from a highly dedicated special education teacher who is teaching in a high-crime, low-income school in L.A. Also shares a decent sized selection of book reviews throughout the blog.
Assistive Technology: This blog shares and discusses the best assistive technologies out there today or in the works for tomorrow. Also offers reviews from the latest technological devices, most recently being the Microsoft Surface 3.
Education on the Plate: Get commentary on the latest special education topics, as well as a hefty does of advocacy from this blog. Creates by a teacher/librarian in the Bronx, NY where she is working in the same school system that she attended as a child.
The Cooke Special Education Blog: The faculty at the Cooke Center share their advice for improving the educational experience of children with special needs. The Cooke Center itself is a non-profit private provider of special education services in New York City offering a school for students ages 5 through 21, and consulting and training services.
